Doodle Bloom
One of my cousins is amazingly talented! Well, actually they all are.(: But, this particular cousin does some amazing photgraphy and announcement designs. Because I am in her family, I get lucky enough to see many of them for different family events. I have loved them all! And, Amber, if you are reading this, I would love to get you to take some pictures of my kids next month when the weather gets better. Anyway, if you are in need of some cute pics or some great announcements, check out her website:http://doodlebloom.blogspot.com/

Makenna's Room
I have been wanting to dress up Makenna's room for a while now and just never quite knew what to do. That was until we went to visit our friends, the Gribbles, last week. Danielle is an interior designer and as you can imagine, her house in amazing! I completley fell in-love with her kid's rooms. Thankfully she was nice enough to let me shamelessly copy the wainscoating in her daugther's room. So, for the last few days Andrew and I have been working on Makenna's room and we are finally done! I love the way it looks! A big thanks to Danielle for letting us use her design and a big thanks to Andrew for being willing to help me out and do so much!

New things
We have discovered some new things about the kids in the last week and a half...
Parker can make goofy faces when I try to get a cute shot of him...yep...exciting

Makenna rediscovered her love of the swing at a friends house. She slept in her swing for about the first 6 months of her life. It was like they never parted.(:

Apparently Wendy's fries are good dipped in a frosty.

Oh, and Parker can now work our VCR. Hmmmm.... And, a funny Parker story. Two Saturday's ago we were driving to the zoo the meet up with one of my best friends and her daughter because she was in town for a few days. Andrew missed the exit because he was on his phone and I was a little annoyed with that. Luckily we had our GPS and it was giving us directions on how to get there. Parker picked up that I was frustrated at Andrew and so he was a little on edge too. I know, bad mommy. So you know how the GPS tells you about 3 times as your getting to a turn what you have to do before you have to do it. Well, it started telling Andrew to turn right and Parker started freaking out that Andrew wasn't. The first comment was a pretty calm, "daddy, turn right." Then after a few more seconds he got frantic, "DADDY, TURN RIGHT!" Then, he yelled desparatley, "Daddy, just do what the lady says!" The voice on our GPS is a woman.(:

7 Years...
Andrew and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary yesterday. I am so glad that we found each other. Having Andrew for my husband has gotten me through the bad times and made the good times infinitely better. We aren't perfect, our life isn't perfect, but I really think that we are perfect for each other. I am one of the lucky ones.

Mommy confessions
Confession #1 If you've ever wondered why my kids are always wearing pajamas in my blog pictures, it's because they wear their them until at least 2pm, that includes me. I only bother with clothes if we actually have to go somewhere.
Confession #2 Parker can put his under the sea puzzle together faster than I can. Really.
Confession #3 There is a fruit snack that was so ground into our carpet by the time I found it that I just left it there in the hopes that it will disappear into the carpet all together one day.
Confession #4 My diaper bag is GROSS right now. Full of half eaten gold fish and fruit snacks that have globbed together and lots of "used to wash faces" wet wipes that were thrown into my bag because I had no where to throw them away at the time.
Confession #5 Makenna totally found a hidden sippy cup (I think she has a stash somewhere in the house) and drank some very, very old apple juice out of it before I could snatch it away from her.
Ahh, I feel so much better now that I have those off my chest.(:
